What was your favorite movie of the summer?
Does it make me boring if I say Inception? I should probably preface this by saying that I didn't catch much of the Summer movie crop this year. Despite living next door to a movie theater, my tolerance for attending crowded movies has waned almost as much as my tolerance for crowded concerts.
I really enjoyed Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and Men Who Hate Women (aka Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) but the film that left the biggest impression on me was definitely Inception, which I felt lived up to its considerable hype. The layers-of-consciousness conceit on which the film is built, is both thought-provoking and well crafted. I need to see it again to see if it stands up under further scrutiny, but I'm guessing it will.
Not boring to me..that is one of those I intend to see..the other is of the same ilk..'Resident Evil..the afterlife'..they are both adventures using high tech imaging and delivery..Peace Tony

You enjoyed Scott Pilgrim? Why I guess you do have a modicum of good taste.

Scott Pilgrim was the suck. Michael Cera's fifteen minutes are over.

I did like it, it succeeded despite Mr. Cera's one-note performance.

Lucky for me, I really really love Michael's one-note.
