My esteemed competitor Jodi has defaulted on her Comment War obligations, meaning that I, Dabysan need only to continue posting ridiculous QOTD answers until the end of December, before I can claim my prize and be showered by desserts and praise.
This is a proud day.
Good luck. I can't deny that I'm a little relieved. Vox depresses the hell out of me. And I even came to post a QOTD and then when it hadn't changed in an entire week I got distracted.

You are a noble competitor. My love of pie and plaudits slightly outweighs my increasing ambivalence for Vox. I look forward to your eloquence in my honor.

Well you haven't won yet. You still have to hold up your end of the bargain. I look forward to gloating when you forget to answer what your favorite summer blockbuster was sometime in the middle of November.

You should default on purpose and end this Comment War here and now.

The comment war has turned into a big dull dud, hasn't it?

You clearly don't understand my competitive nature. I can get heated over losing a coin toss.

Comment War only works when the competitors act like they actually want to fight. You two don't even seem to want to be here (which I can certainly understand). I'm sort of sad that things ended early, though. I think it would've come around and gotten exciting in November/December.

I am so disappointed in Jodi. She let me down. Again.

I cannot deny that I was half-assing it (maybe even quarter or eighth-assing). I've lost my Vox mojo. Though I think you're right November and December might have been pretty damn good.
Still my relief at being done is overshadowing any sadness or bitterness at losing.
